    Default Prop repair.

We finally dinged up a prop this weekend on a log. What is the quickest turn around shop to get this fixed? I’m paranoid now not having a spare.

I just had mine done at https://www.propshoptn.com/
225 shipped back to me for a badly damaged 16" prop.
    They took about 2-3 days.

Highly recommended, nice guys and good on communication.

Also go ahead and buy a spare, sucks to lose a whole week if you ding one.

Appreciate the info. I’ll give them a call today. Fortunately I had a spare but it’s the 16x15 so not as optimal as the 16x13.9.

Depending how damaged it is and how quickly you need it repaired- I bent over the ends of two of the fins on my prop a week ago and temporarily fixed it myself (for now as I didn’t have a spare). Can’t miss any boat days!

I made a template from a good fin and using a large adjustable wrench I careful bent the fins back until they matched up with the template. Took it out this weekend and it worked perfect...no vibrations.

I did order a new prop and will get the damaged one professionally repaired/balanced.

not sure where you are located but most larger cities have a prop repair shop to save on shipping. call a few of the local boat dealers and they will tell you who they use.
had a couple fixed in boise and ran me $100. there's a couple of shops here in vegas that do it but it's a tad more.

Prop shop tn was awesome to deal with. Overnighted my prop to them yesterday. They just completed it and are sending it to my marina with a Thursday arrival time!
