Trailer crank eats strap
I have a 2008 Mobius on a Boatmate trailer. The crank on the trailer continues to eat the strap. It only chews on the strap on the non tapered side of the crank. I grinded the edge off and is nice a smooth, but it is still chewing up the strap. I can’t seem to figure out how to attach pics. Any help would be appreciated. Thanks

It looks to me like your winch is slightly off center, or maybe at a bit of an angle. This is causing it to rub on the side of the drum. See if you can loosen the mounts a bit and give it a bump in the right direction.

^^ Agree ^^
Might be the camera angle on the pic, but something does not looks straight.

Agree that it looks slightly off center. I tried loosing the bolts , but unfortunately it doesn’t bump over. Thanks

A bit more work, but you could take it off and slightly oval out, or oblong the mounting holes with a drill. Doesn't look like it needs much. This would give you a little adjustment when you tighten it back down
