Emilware, ours looks the same on the outside.
Had family in from Ohio this past week. None of the kids had ever surfed and almost all of them dropped the rope by their second run.

He's 5 and yes always long sleeves with hoods.
We had kids from 5 to 17 over last week.

That is awesome that you got him up like that. Take much instruction time? My 19 year old son got up with my friends 8 yr old daughter standing between his legs on the board. We were not able to get her up by herself.

He's been wakeboarding since he was 2 and surfing since he was 3. We started on a versa board with all the kids which really helped them. All my nieces and nephews had no problem once they got up since they had practiced standing and holding the rope on the versa board first.
