PerfectPass temperature pickup
Can anyone tell me where the temp. pickup is usually located on a factory installed PerfectPass system?

Thanks guys,
For some reason, my PerfectPass does not seem to be giving accurate water temp info. the temp. it is giving is much closer to the air temp than the water temp. Has anyone else had this issue?

If you haven't tried already, you can calibrate your PP temp reading. You'll need a thermometer to put a foot or so down in the water.

Can i hook up an external temprature display on the PP sensor?
That way i don't have to go in the menu when reading temprature?

I was unaware that you could calibrate the temp. I knew that you could calibrate many of the pull characteristics (KDW, NN, CS and speed calibration). Is the temp calibration in the same area?

The manual that came with mine is WP version 6.5N, January '05. Under display features/systems settings, it says:
"To calibrate lake temp press the up & down keys together when temperature is being displayed".
Hopefully, this will fix it. Good luck.

Well, looks like it did just need to be calibrated. One thing I am still puzzled about is why the instructions for the temp. calibration were left out of the '06 PerfectPass manual (version 6.5Ng) Anyway, appreciate the help Nafplio. As a side note, maybe one day PerfectPass will design a much more user-friendly interface!
