That is how it works, but theoretically it would only correct one direction and I suppose it’s to counter the prop rotation.
That said, my boat drives perfectly straight and there is zero adjustment on that tab, it’s perfectly flush.

I don't know man. I think that Bernoulli would object to that screw head messing up the laminar flow across the surface of that thing!!
