Some companies can't do much without resin.

what am I missing? article is political in nature and company going out of business is citing climate law and cheap chinese products not a shortage of resin.

MFG said in a news release that the closure will happen because of changing market conditions, foreign competition, and proposed revisions to tax policies affecting the wind energy industry in the United States.

Many factors caused the resin shortages from pandemic, labor shortages, hurricane season, winter storms (especially Texas) and importing backlogs, but resins will return to normal at some point.
