The neighborhood is called August Lakes and essentially they are long rows with sweeping bends back and forth.

For the event they damned off this particular section.

That’s exactly what it was. A water sports community. There are several in this area, I had never seen anything like it but it was sweet. Awesome event but Texas heat is definitely settling in.

Yeah, this particular one is about 3 yrs old and held stop 1 in 2019.

There are few older ones in the vacinity but they are shallower and are for water skiing. They made this one deep enough to throw a wave.
