synthetic oil
I've searched through all the old post and cant find any info that I'm loking for. I know they say it's ok to use synthetic oil after 100 hrs, but what brand and weight to they recommend? I've always used Mobile1 and Amsoil in my race bikes. Both are great oils and I'd like to use one of them in my boat. Anyone have any info?
Thanks

Same weight as called for in the owners manual. Either are good but you still have to change oil at 50 hr intervals.
.
Hope this helps

I like Mobil 1 also. I used the 50 wt, because I couldn't find the 40wt called for. I e-mailed Mobil one and that is what they recomended.
