GoPro Phender Mount

So I got this and it contains a Phender club with a basic GoPro mounting bracket on it but of course that would put the go pro at a 40 degree angle on the side of the boat aiming back. What would be the best connector from the Phender mount to the GoPro itself to get great footage?

You can use the suction cup (high speed rated) on other locations but more importantly it has a great articulating arm for positioning the perfect shot. You can attach the arm to the phender mount.

All the pieces are modular and use the universal GoPro '3slot'.

It's like using legos...

Still a little confused on how to get the pieces from the suction mount onto the Phender mount.

Undo the arm from the suction cup and flip it so the 3 slot ends connect. "End" of arm to phender mount.

Now take a standard 3 slot thumbscrew connector (you should have an extra with your GoPro) and put that on the opposite end to mount the camera.

There are some great cheap kits on amazon that have all kinds of connectors and clips.

The problem with that is shown in this picture below, the two "3 slot" connectors both have the thumbscrew nut on the end so they don't slide in together, it is basically two male 3 slot connectors . Sorry to be annoying here, I do feel like there is a way to do this but maybe I am missing a piece. It also came with a 3 slot to 2 slot connector but I can't see how that would solve this either.

....the hex nut caps pop out so there isn't a male/female issue.
