Stereo upgrades

I want to upgrade my stereo system. I have done this to cars about 20 years ago. Things have changed now. The back of my Kenwood Stereo has only one set of RCA's. I think that I need three amp or two amp and a powered sub. I need an amp for the for 4 Kicker tower speakers and an amp for the six kenwood stock speakers. I am not even sure if I like the stock speakers. Any suggestions on different speakers and amp I can use. I want to do the install myself. I will be getting an extra battery installed this weekend.

I don't have an amp for the boat (stock) speakers. When I bought the tower speakers, I had similar questions. My tower puts out good sound and is pretty loud. I don't want the stock speakers that loud. I get complaints as it is. Granted, you can get better sounding speakers. But, after a season with the current setup, I don't think you need an amp (for the boat speakers).
