    Default Lead wake bags

Wake life is doing there black Friday sale. Got 500lbs for $459 shipped. Best price ive seen for new. That will give me 1k lead for my 21 mojo. Hopefully that will give me the push i hoped for because right now there's barely any.

Does the new Mojo really require that much more, or is lead just easier than adding water? I figured 500 in the bow and midship plus upgraded bags in the rear (or piggyback) and you were good. I know Wake9 used 1000# but that was a tester from Moomba and they weren't about to add ballast bags to that.

No judgement, just thinking if I should pull the trigger on some also to get my goofy wave right on my 15'

Most days when I'm surfing the only people in the boat are my 120lb wife and 45lb son and 500lbs of lead. That leaves 2200lbs of opportunity lost. I have 500lbs of lead in the bow already and with full bags i can get the recommended pitch and rolls but can't seem to get over 10mph or there is no push and wave is super short at 10mph. When we have the boat loaded with 10 plus people the wave is great though.

I have a similar problem with mine. Wife and 2 younger girls. I get it now!

I found having 300+ lbs in the front is the trick. But the 1100's in the rear locker helps also. The new boats are all sub-floor correct? I would rather have lead over losing all the storage. I have to list more than the new hulls also, so I use the other 200# for that in the midship.

Might have to jump on your deal....thanks for posting.

The bow ballast bags are sub floor. The rears go from the rear lockers to sub floor under the side seat storage. Pros and cons to both lead and getting wakemaker bags.

Wake9 keeps a 1000# in their boat all summer on Norris.

I'm curious if Wake9 will ride the Mojo in the 2022 season or move to something else. I know they rode the SE for a few seasons before moving to the Mojo.

    or 1000lbs for $867 shipped
$.87 vs .$92 so you can save another $.05 per pound if you don't tow or have a big crew

I bought this deal last week. They showed up today! Seems like the shipping issues have been resolved. The deal is still on for anyone looking.
