There are some great pics and videos in this thread. After 11 years of owning this boat we finally broke down and started surfing last summer. My wife is loving it. I am still on the fence.

My wife didn’t grab a video. But will try next time out. Here is a pic that might help. We used two ropes. I tied one off a few feet shorter. I asked her to stay out of the wave until I was good.

You guys are missing two lines on the whips. You need to have a line from the from cleat on the front of the boat to the base of the whip tied to the back of the boat and another from the rear cleat of the boat to the base of the whip at the front of the boat. They keep the boat from drifting forward and back. The whips aren’t meant to do that, they are just designed to keep the boat off the dock.
