This is actually a pretty accurate statement. We do both, and I think it is the perception of the fast moving boat zig zagging and doing figure 8's all over the place that makes people think they are making crazy wake. And it does! But it is nothing like the size of the rollers coming off the surf side of the boat when I am weighted down. Originally Posted by j.mo

Surf boats, when surfing, move nice and slow, but those waves don't stop till they hit something either. Just look at all the rows of rollers behind your boat next time.
