Do you have a 12V distribution block near your amps and charger in the passenger side storage locker? The rectangle hole looks to be the size of the 12V distribution block that I have on my Mojo. Maybe just a beauty ring that covers everything. It would be machined to give clearance for the wires running under it. Would make sense they had to remove it to do stereo/amp work.

Horizontal above your knees is my bet. That’s what I was referencing. I recall an odd looking panel with a hole in it.....I think.
