Default Your prop choice for late model Supras

Buying a second prop and just curious what folks are using as their primary wake surfing props? I have the Acme 3591 16 x13.9. Ordering a second of the same. Anybody surfing with the 16 x 17?

16x17 would be far too high of a pitch for surfing.

We have an ACME 2775 seems to work well and is what is recommended per ACMEs website.

Truthfully I don’t know much about props at all but I figured I could share my experience.

Fully weighted RPMs stay around 3-3.5k I believe

I have the 3591 in the bag and I think the 16x15 is the 3333, which is currently on the shaft. Because we boat at between 4K-6500 ft I wanted a stump puller(3591). Won’t get to use it this year because all our lakes at elevation are too low to launch.

Still breaking in a 400/1.76 SA, running the 16x13.9 prop, it’s has a slight “ringing” to is at about 1575rpm, otherwise it’s quiet, I will say the 1.76 transmission in the 21 is quieter than the 1.5 transmission in my 18.

Haven’t really hopped on it yet, but the 16x13.9 is responsive, keep in mind I was used to the 400/1.5 with 2775.

Thanks for the feedback. Haven't had much time on the boat yet but the 3591 had lots of torque and fully weighted was around 3400rpm at 11.2mph. Think I will just order another. The 12.5 pitch might just cost more to run with little benefit.
