Wakesurfing Behind Mobius LS
I have bought a 2007 Mobius LS with the Gravity III ballast system and I am anxiously waiting delivery. The salesman at my local dealership is telling me that I will need to buy extra fat sacks in order to wakesurf with this set up.
Are fat sacks really necessary for someone who isn't serious about wakesurfing or will the stock ballasts provide enough of a wake to wakesurf while we wait for the wind to die down?

you will need more sacs, probably no less than 1,000lbs in the back corner to get a wake that surfable

I would wait till you actually try behind your set up then work from there, so you dont waste your money

I put a 750# sac in the back left locker. The dealer should be able to have the ballast system customized for you. Its the easy way to go and the best. When we wakeboard we turn the left and right on at the same time, and when the right is full shut them off. It gets the # level pretty even. and when we surf we fill up the 750 sac and the front and it puts out a monster wake.
