I did but I'm going to adjust them again. It was a pain because the brackets mounted to the crossbars by drilling holes in it. New brackets will just clamp and give me more adjustability. I got the boat sitting a lot better and off of the chimes along the bottom of the hull. But it's still a little close for my taste, and causes a little bit of aggravation getting the boat lined up before lifting. I want to widen it up about another 4 inches to make it easier. Here are a few pics.

I gotcha. Looks like you are making good progress. So you are getting new brackets? Are you not wanting to drill more holes in your beams?

Ever tried drilling 1/2" holes in a 3/8" steel beam while sitting in a john boat with a hand drill? The 8 I drilled the first time wore my a$$ out. I don't want anymore of that! ��

Not yet. I have the brackets, but just haven't had the time to get back on it. It sits fine like it is, but I have to spend an extra minute to make sure its where I want it before lifting. Maybe this summer when I start spending more time there.
