Side Storage Bins

I've read that the side storage bins in the new Mojo(and other models probably), cannot be removed without taking off the gas struts that hold the cover open. Has anyone figured out a way to cut/modify the bins so they are removable without having to mess with the strut?

I looked at a Mondo with the bins. They are just plastic but if they were poorly trimmed at the factory, the struts get in the way.

Some minor trimming will resolve the issue.

If the bins are like the ones on a Makai, you have to pop 1 end of the struts off. Easy to do but not as easy as the center one that doesn't require it.

I’ve gotten good popping the struts on my 21 Mojo. However I’m going to look hard at what a Dremel might do to make it easier.
