New to boat ownership, trying to handle some maintenance on my own before the season starts. Engine in Indmar Assault 325 EFI. Planning on getting my hands dirty doing a tune up. I’ve found the water separating fuel filter, but I’m not sure if there should also be an inline fuel filter? There are two fuel lines coming from the tank, one to the pump and one to the throttle body (I think) neither have inline filters. Does the water separating one take care of all of this for me? Also, should I clean the screen on the bottom of my fuel pump? Everything I’m reading online says yes, but none of the things I’ve been reading are the same for my engine. (Pump on rear port side, not front starboard. Having a water separating filter) so maybe it doesn’t apply to the model I have?

Thanks in advance!
