As a absurd as they are (pretty over priced also) the yeti soft cooler fits lunch and drinks for 4 and doesn't take up much room. I looked at many others and almost bought the RTIC version but my kids would struggle with the zippers. The magnet closure makes them independent. The hard cooler doesn't work because crew size can start at 4 and end up 12 in a few text messages.

Hey guys. New to forum. Would the Rtic 40 can soft pack cooler fit under the either rear right/left seats in a Moomba Makai? The dimensions of this cooler are 12" wide by 18 1/2" long and 17" tall.

I am thinking 17" might be too tall. I bought an AO 36 can cooler that is 36" long x 10" wide X 12" tall and it fits snug just under the seat.

I agree I think that might be a little tall. Look at the AO Stow-n-Go it is the same cooler Moomba sells (just with out the logo) that fits under the seat perfectly.

I've got a LG fridge/freezer (no ice to deal with!) that I used for the first time in the boat yesterday. Plugs in at the dash and works well. I thought it would be in the way, but didn't notice it. I did move it a foot backwards so I could use the trash can.

I'm still optimizing my space with all the stuff I seem to carry in the storage lockers.

Pretty slick, how cold does that cooler get? Don’t the electrics do about 35f below ambient?

LG claims -4 degrees F. But I typically set it to 38 or so. In direct sunlight at 88 degrees ambient temp it didn't get above 41.
