I agree I think that might be a little tall. Look at the AO Stow-n-Go it is the same cooler Moomba sells (just with out the logo) that fits under the seat perfectly.

Ok. So the 40 Can Rtic Soft Pack Cooler is out. Is anyone using the 30 Can Soft Pack Cooler? The dimensions on this cooler are a little smaller. 15" long, 12' Tall and 11 1/2" wide. Do you think this cooler will fit under a rear seat bench? I'm going to look at the 36 can AO Cooler as well. The price is within $5 of being the same so I'm more concerned with a good fit. Thanks guys for the help.

I've got a LG fridge/freezer (no ice to deal with!) that I used for the first time in the boat yesterday. Plugs in at the dash and works well. I thought it would be in the way, but didn't notice it. I did move it a foot backwards so I could use the trash can.

I'm still optimizing my space with all the stuff I seem to carry in the storage lockers.

Hows the 12 frig handle water? I have one slightly different brand but it says not to leave it in the rain so figured it wouldnt work well in the boat.

The height might end up getting you on that one as well but I cant say for sure. IIRC there isn't much room to spare on top of the Stow-N-Go and it is 8.5" tall. I am sure others can get you a measurement as they might have their boats at home, if not I can get you measurement on Friday if that works for you.

LG claims -4 degrees F. But I typically set it to 38 or so. In direct sunlight at 88 degrees ambient temp it didn't get above 41.

After more thought and seeing this photo on the Amazon review, I canceled my order for the Rtic 30 can soft pack cooler and have just placed the order for the AO 38 Can Stow-n-go Soft Pack cooler several have recommended. Price ended up being the same $99 plus tax. Free shipping. Thanks again guys for the advice.

You will be happy with it. It is all you need for day trips and with it under the seat it stays out of the sun a really fits perfect.
