Default Finally found a problem with my outback

De-winterized (relative term seeing as how Im Austin, tx) my boat this past weekend. While waxing it I found a hairline crack on my top cap by the rear compartments. It runs from from the hinge of the rear compartment door all the way to the rear seat (about an 8in crack). I was curious if anyone else has seen this with their outback. I know it will probably cost a fortune to fix, but wanted to know if its something i can prolong repairing.

hey, it probably is just the gel coat and gel coat is very easy to repair. I've done a couple of spots on my outback and I can't even tell anything was ever there. I'm in Austin too BTW, what lake do you go to? We go to Lake Austin, come say hi if you see me. Here's my ride.

Will definatley see you out this summer, hit me up. Im out during the week mostly and rarely on the weekends (just to booze cruz)

    Pickle
What is the black surface on the bow of your boat? I assume it is non-skid or a protectant for stepping on board. What did you use/where did you get?

    Thanks,
    BW

it is non skid eva foam for people to step on. I got it from www.wakeside.com, it's made by straight line. I got a couple of the small strips as well to put on the sides.
