    Default Which Hitch!?

Hey fellas. So I have a class IV hitch receiver rated up to 7900lbs. I’m thinking that’s not enough for my SA. Looking at all class V and such that are rated for 10k + is misleading since that’s the rating for the 2 ¼” and only about 8k for the 2”.

What are y’all using for these heavy a$$ boats?

I use a Weigh Safe with my SuperDuty. Something like this should work good for you.

I have the same hitch without the scale on it. Make sure to get the locking one. You can order those so the hitch and the receiver pin are keyed the same. That's how I ordered mine.

I'd throw this in for consideration - very clean design and locking system. Makes it almost impossible to break into. No pins to pull or lose. Comes with 4 keys.

I should have gotten one of these YEARS ago.
So when is this "old enough to know better" supposed to kick in?

I use the BW tow and stow. It comes with a 2" ball rated to 7500 lb and a 2 5/16" ball rated for 10,000 lb. The come in different amounts of rise/drop

That’s my issue. I have a 2” rated at 7500lbs but I feel I’m gonna max it out and it would be unsafe.

    What do you tow?
