Brandon, does the decal remover work well? The large tribals on my boat need to go.

CUCV - here are some additional photos that you can see the wake shape plates fixed on the sides. AND for those who asked for more photos of the boat. Thanks for the encouragement y'all. It's almost as if this is a place where we can all encourage each other with our expensive lifestyles! My wife will LOVE it! Although she was kind of the push to get the boat. 130204636_3564410110333320_2001669975515884643_n.jpg 130302129_3364834486978936_8925879658604685140_n.jpg130463090_3269409909853284_2030646352236692764_n.jpg130539583_3561018217313931_2718628906265114995_n.jpg

The decal remover works really well. I ditched the kangaroo and moved the registration and numbers a tad. I did notice my gelcoat was a bit darker where the decal was but I was able to buff that out with a 3M pad and some elbow grease.

You need to make sure you plan a trip south to the Trinity River in Riverside. There is a place that has tent/RV camp sites or cabins right on the water called Bethy Creek Resort. The Trinity provides buttery smooth glass for miles and miles. It's been the sole location of our Texas Moomba/Supra Jam every year since 2010.

If my work quarantine situation doesn't change I won't be organizing it. So I guess that depends on if someone else wants to step up and put it together, as of now I will be gone for work the last 3/4 of July, all of August, and probably the first week and a half of Sept.

It takes a lot of time to organize those events. Fun, but busy work. I've done it for other types of sportsman events.
It helps if you have a good "committee" to help on the different aspects - donations, dinners, raffles, people asking questions, thank yous etc.

If you get your shot, does it change your quarantine situation?

PSA for the group. The vaccine does not keep you from getting COVID, it assists in mounting an immune response such that you have severely lessened, or no visible or sensible, symptoms. Vaccinated individuals can be infected, be asymptomatic, and shedding enough live virus to infect someone else. The vaccine is necessary to reduce the severe illness symptoms and death toll. It does not provide sterilizing immunity, merely subverts the immuno-cascade that creates severe complications and death.

Until 80% or more of the populace has had the vaccine, or levels of immunities post infection that are necessary to reduce symptoms, maskless close social contact, should be avoided. It is still undetermined how long acquired immunity lasts. Moderna made statement today that its vaccine should be good for one year.

I don't mean to be a buzzkill. I just want everyone informed prior to events being coordinated, so that each individual can determine their own risk acceptance levels.

Works for me, now let’s hustle up with getting vaccines distributed that the states have on hand.

Don't want to start a debate or derail this thread but This is from the CDC website.

COVID-19 vaccination will help keep you from getting COVID-19

All COVID-19 vaccines currently available in the United States have been shown to be highly effective at preventing COVID-19
. Learn more about the different COVID-19 vaccines.
All COVID-19 vaccines that are in development are being carefully evaluated in clinical trials and will be authorized or approved only if they make it substantially less likely you’ll get COVID-19. Learn more about how federal partners are ensuring COVID-19 vaccines work.
Based on what we know about vaccines for other diseases and early data from clinical trials, experts believe that getting a COVID-19 vaccine may also help keep you from getting seriously ill even if you do get COVID-19.
Getting vaccinated yourself may also protect people around you, particularly people at increased risk for severe illness from COVID-19.

    Default Brand New to Moomba

Either way, decreases odds of contracting a severe case. Getting science or medical to agree on anything is a stretch.

I have elderly parents who are otherwise reasonably healthy for 81 and 85, they got their vaccines today, first shots.

I will feel better and relax a bit when they can more safety do things for themselves. I handle their shopping and errands the past 9 months to keep their risks low to exposure.
