Default Is it easy to put speaker wire in a new LSV

My 07 LSV will be built soon and I did not order any stereo as I wanted to put my own stuff in. Hwoever I heard they no longer plumb the tower with speaker wire....so will it be hard to do??

it's really easy, What I did was drill the holes where I needed them, then find a nut small enough to fit in the holes. I tied fishing string to the nut and dropped it in the hole and used a strong magnet to pull it through the tower to the exit hole. That left the fishing string inside the tower to use as a pull string for the speaker wire.
    Good Luck

like pickle311 said, its very easy. I do speaker installs on Supras and Moombas, usually at least one a week. You just drill a few holes and then I use fish tape to pull wire through. If you start at the top and push your wire down the tower you don't even have to use the fish tape then. You go around the hinge of the tower and back in. From there, I stick fish tape up through the hull (drill a hole through the fiberglass underneath the tower mount-the tower is hollow here. Use the opposite side of the tower where the tower light wiring goes through the hull for a reference point to where to drill your hole) into the tower and out just below the joint. I attach my speaker wire to the fish tape using very small zip ties. From there just pull your wiring through and dress up using wiring loom. Should be about a 30 minute job at most.

That is GREAT info. I appreciate it.

So here is a good one for you guys then.

I am considering these bad boys for tower speakers. See how these Roswell light up.

I guess then I would wonder if the coolness of the lighted speaker area in these babies is worth not having the best sound. I say this as people keep telling me that the wetsound Pro 80's are better.

I read that the Roswell have Phoenix Gold as speakers. Are they any good?

Lastly, if I am running 4 tower speakers, I was considering these other Roswell speakers as they pivot. Anyone have any comments?

I am a Roswell and Wetsounds dealer and have installed both. After hearing both, Wetsounds is the only speaker I offer now. Roswell may look a little more classy or whatever but if its sound you want, you must go with Wetsounds.

I recently installed my last set up Roswell swivel speakers with the pheonix gold speakers in the cans. If I had never heard Wetsounds before I'd say they are a better than average speaker. THe light up speakers look cool but have to use as far as using it for a light at night.

Wetsounds are the way to go, and there's a few companies out there that can make LED rings for them too. I'll be ordering some eventually for my Pro80s.

Thx. Hey when you said "there's a few companies out there that can make LED rings for them too" what do you mean???? These go into the speakers??? Do they need a power wire or do they use the speaker wire as power? Any pics?

yea, it's a ring that mounts behind the grill and they do need power. I'll search and see if I can find them.
