I bought one this year and it has been the best board I've rode hate I didn't buy it sooner, its fast but stable luckily my local store let me demo then I had to have it

My buddy has one and I have ridden it a dozen times or so...I prefer my Phase 5 Phantom or my other buddy's Phase Five MVP over it. It is really slick with no fins in it, with one fin in it it's more stable.

Sorry, I meant Matrix and typed Phantom as 2 of my surf buddies have those as well.

The MVP is very similar to the Matrix, the same shape, a little thicker, and a little more forgiving than the Matrix. If I were buying a new skim today I would look at Sean's board the Phase 5 Key...just to confuse you more

And what's the difference between 600 and 800 when your dropping $140k on a new boat and getting a new truck...it's Christmas.

The bad news is phase 5 mvp and matrix are largely unavailable.

He has ridden a shim the past 2 summers and is ready for an upgrade.

Yep, best kids board there is. My 10 your daughter still rides her Shim, my 13 year old son out grew it and prefers a surf style so he rides a Soul Craft Super AV with some Futures in it. When he wants to ride skim he rides my Matrix but its still a little big for him, but he can ride it and spin a 360 on it.
