Which smoker is that? Is the tower a smoke chamber or is the fire box on the right hand side?

When we move to Austin I have to upgrade my smoker to a larger one for family events. I don’t have experience with wood fired units, just pellet and electric.

Nice looking bird. I have a ham warming in my little green mountain right now, and turkey in the oven. I’ll be reheating leftovers on the pellet grill tomorrow.

That is a smoker from Lyfe Tyme out of Uvalde, TX... seriously stout.

You can order from them or check out an HEB once you're in Austin, most carry them.

On the right side is the offset firebox (you can put a sauce pot on the flat top) and the left vertical chamber can accommodate 3 levels and a bar at the top to hang sausage.

This is a full fledged stick burner, it'll take a fair amount of wood to get up to temp but it holds heat really well.

In TX, pellet grills are blasphemy and for sissies
