same dif. I'd rather have them molded into the hull than hard tanks actually. more strength to stiffen the hull up. they are a unique ride on the water tho. if you haven't and get a chance, ride in one. VERY "tippy" boat and weight sensitive side to side if not ballasted up.

the final price for all that subfloor ballast tho is no nmma cert. no biggie for me but some care..

Owned a 2013 F24 for 2 years. Loved the ballast system. Mine did not leak thankfully.

Same diff as hard tanks in that leaks occur, and when they do they’re a huge PITA. That’s part of why everybody else is doing subfloor bags and hard tanks have kinda disappeared.

bags are nice until you have to clean them. I'll take tanks at that point..

the gate valves and that most are also running pnp are the only real downsides. kinda negates the 60second fill if you're waiting for pnp.

Yeah that's what's funny about Centurion's Ramfill. You have to be doing like 15mph to fill and empty them, and it's still only half the ballast. Takes just as long to fill the rest as it takes our g6 to fill everything.

That and even though there’s 5500# ballast, they don’t run all of it. Bow is rarely full, and offside is often less than full.
