Dropping into the 30’s overnight now. Hoping to get one more ride before winterization and switching to snowmobiles. Thursday hit 72° so we went out for a couple hours before sunset.

Probably last trip of the year unless we can squeeze one more in but the lake is already dropping.

Let the daughter drive the boat for the first time and she did great. She drove for several miles and I could tell was having a blast even if she was a bit nervous. I kept her far and wide from other boats.

I wonder who is hated more on lakes these days.....jetskis or wakeboard boats with loud tower speakers throwing off huge surf waves...My guess- the wakeboard boats!

Yup they were being respectful and staying back. I let them jump on them for a bit and they saw I had the camera out. Normally if this were in the peak of summer I’d be stopping and letting them know to get off my wake but with the season coming to an end and they were hanging back I didn’t mind it. They jumped for a bit and then gave a wave as the zoomed off.

I see it often where they are attracted to the wake and don’t even see or consider my rider.
