No, not at the distance so long as they're not riding my ass on the main (first) wake. I didn't have an issue with them that day and actually raised my wake plate up to amplify the wake a little more for them. It's a completely different story though if I have a surfer or someone in the water being towed behind the boat though. We do all we can to avoid boats and if someone on a PWC is jumping in the waves behind the surfer then we stop or alter course and flag them off to leave. If they don't leave then that's when stuff starts to hit the fan and escalate if need be. Otherwise I don't have an issue with them riding at the distance in my pic. If water patrol spots them in the act it's on them as technically they could be cited. It's not uncommon to see the water patrol have a PWC pulled over on our lake.
Alabama law regarding PWC's:
A personal watercraft shall at all times be operated on the waters of this state in a reasonable and prudent manner. Maneuvers which endanger life, limb, or property, or create a public nuisance shall all constitute the reckless operation of a vessel, including but not limited to the following: weaving through congested vessel traffic at high speed; following closely behind within the wake of a vessel towing a person or persons on water skis, surfboard, or other water sport device; jumping the wake of another vessel traveling in the same direction in close proximity to the vessel; cutting between a boat and the person or persons being towed by that boat; crossing at right angles in close proximity to the stern of another vessel or when visibility around the other vessel is obstructed; or steering a vessel toward any object or person in the water and turning sharply at close range so as to spray the object or person.Last edited by haknslash; 10-18-2020 at 05:58 PM.

Went out today 2 weeks post-op. 🦿
I lied to myself and my wife that I was just going out to cruise around, jam some tunes and give my buddy some pulls.
A bit of liquid courage later and I was "getting in my PT" (my surgeon had cleared my incisions, not at risk of infection from lake water)

The "PT" was pretty fun and the soreness was not too bad the following day.
Yeah, the boat is still listed. I've had a few offers that weren't worth my time through OnlyInboards.
A brokerage firm called Pop Yachts came out this past Saturday for a photo & video shoot at no cost to me. (They don't get paid unless they find a pre-qualified buyer)
I've resigned myself to the fact that I waited too long and missed my window in the summer.
It's all good though, I still love my boat and there's nothing wrong with it. We'll see what happens in another year or so.
I think I let myself get caught up in the new boat frenzy but in all honesty I'm not really sold on spending six figures for a Mojo, I'd rather wait till I can move up to a Supra.
....this is the cleanest she's been all year
