Default 2021 SA450, run at 3500' elevation, what prop is best?

I ordered a 2021 SA450 and run at 3500' elevation. Does anyone run a 450 at that elevation? Wondering what prop I should use? I think I will be running stock ballast with 5 people. Want lowest RPM's that still gets the job done well. 1/2 wakeboard, 1/2 surfing.
Seems like maybe a 16x15 might be right?

I'm running a 16x15 on a 2020 SA 450 between 4000-6500 ft ASL with 950# lead. I noticed no problems getting up with full ballast and lead for surfing.

The new 16x13.9 replaces the 16x15.

Supra and Acme prop designed the 16x13.9 specifically for Supra 400/450 with the 1.76 ratio.

I most likely will go to the 16x13.9, and keep the 16x15 as a spare. It’s on the list of next season to-do’s. By then, we may have moved to TX, at 2100 ft.

Thanks for the info. Do you want faster acceleration? is that why you want to go to 16x13.9? What RPMs are you getting with your 16x15 at surf and 21mph full ballast at 4000'? How is the noise level at surf and wake board speed at 4000'? Was the 16x15 the stock altitude prop in 2020?

The 16x15 was the stock prop. The PO of the boat didn't feel the need for high altitude prop because they boat at 3000ft. I just bought the boat, and have only had it out once for 2 hrs before putting it away for the season. At 21 mph and full ballast at 6200ft I think I was between 4800-5100 rpm, and 3500-3900 surf speed. Didn't stay at 21 for long because we ran out of lake (water level is 60ft low) and water was rough. Noise level as compared to my last boat was much lower because we didn't have FAE on the last boat. The SA is a whole new experience from what we were used to. The reason I'm looking at the 16x13.9 is versatility for our change in altitude, and to have a 2nd prop. The 13.9 is said to get you on plane faster.

We ordered the sa450 with 16x13.9, but unfortunately don’t have the boat yet so can’t give any feedback. No elevation issues though as we are in SC so may be slightly different.

Has anyone considered the 16x12.5 prop? I am looking to optimize for performance for surfing and is almost exclusively how we spend time on our boat. Is there any advantage to the 12.5 over the 13.9, is the 12.5 truly only for those at high elevation?

Just looking at ACME's site and they are out of stock on the 3591 16x13.9. It says by end of week, but who knows how long that its said that. Price is $919.00. Weekend Saver prop kits are backordered as well. It says to use the 1 1/8" size for a 16" dia. prop. What size is the 2019 and up SR/SA/SL/SE shaft?

Here is some prop 101 from Wakemakers to help you decide
