Went due to the old man starting to clean out their house. Came back with our rented minivan stuffed to the gills.
    Few cool things....
Our new addition to the entry room and some old beers......

They put in a whitewater area a few years ago. Surfing anf kayaking with a nice entry and several bars and restaurants there. Sits on the 30 mile long greenbelt that iffers bikers and walkers a trail thru town. Lots if eye candy on the weekends
Right across from the whitewater is a huge paddleboard lake [IMG]https://uploads.tapatalk-cdn.com

Dropped the boat off at the dealer this weekend and checked out a new one they had on the floor. The mechanical side of the stern thrusters seems like a pretty simple, effective design.

Now that side thruster makes total sense. Seems like that would be a aftermarket bolt on item common soon.

Great pic of the thruster, those look heavy duty, I incorrectly assumed they were plastic housings lol, those look like 1/4” aluminum.

If I had to guess I’d say 3/8” aluminum. Looked very well built.

I did expect to maybe see some type of screen to keep debris/fingers out but it didn’t have anything of that sort on it.

You didn't happen to get the brand on the thruster did you?

I'm a also curious if they run one at a time depending on which way you're going or if they both run at the same time in both directions.

Good observation on the screen, hopefully some control logic like the boat needs to be in gear or similar??

I ordered them on my SA, to make myself a better V drive driver and getting my son and wife more confident in driving the boat.

I did not. I’ll take another look when I go back to get my boat.
