In response, I would coordinate getting all the others that are parking to “circle the wagons” around the dolt, or play hide and seek with his trailer.

Saw something a couple weeks back that I wish I'd have taken a pic of. Not sure if he was a noob or a seasoned pro but the ramp we put in at gets packed late in the afternoon so parking can get creative. The guy had his trailer backed into the water (no where near the launch) enough so that I'm not 100% he didnt just launch from there. The truck was right at the edge of the water with the front tires on pavement for traction. I have thoroughly enjoyed watching people this year even tho it has been a bit sketchy at times.

Don’t get me wrong, I am very tolerant of newbs and help when I can at the launch. There is something about the boating family I respect.

But sometimes the entertainment factor is immense.

I’m seeing noobs on the river. 20 people mostly in the stern of a boat making the bow so high the driver can’t see out. Have had to wave several boats off before impact.

And the jet-ski daredevils are out in full force.

You can imagine how popular this place is - in the evenings especially. Narrow ramp, lots of traffic. The current runs through pretty strong and right towards the cafe.

Definitely some good live entertainment and rarely an empty seat in the place.

So when is this "old enough to know better" supposed to kick in?
