No valence. Easier to clean, change/inspect tires.

Kinda digging the no valence look......

I know I am talking trailer styling lol, but I am a stickler for details.

The one advantage of the valence is it doesn’t expose the inner fender/frame which gets dirty/chipped up. I suppose I could spray bedliner in the inner fender well.

I think it depends on the color of the trailer. I have the valance and my trailer is black so it's not really noticeable. As you said the valance does hide a bit of the inner trailer and possibly offer a little more protection. We don't tow far these days so it's not a big deal to us. The no valance look kind of reminds me of 18-wheeler wheel covers now that I look at it lol.

Voting for valence here. No issues with cleaning so far.

It all depends on the wheel selection...you going upgraded 18s or stock wheel size?

Valance. Helps to smooth the lines on an otherwise boxy design and adds rigidity to the fender that gets a ton of traffic, weight, etc.

So when is this "old enough to know better" supposed to kick in?
