Gatorstep colors and temperatures

Any feedback on gatorstep colors and how hot it gets in direct sun?

It appears that SC is offering at least 3-4 colors of gatorstep on 21’s.

Grey
Brown
Black

Any other pros and cons for each color?

I was concerned with this when I chose “bluesteel” (dark grey) Gatorstep to redo the entire boat but fortunately temp has been a non-issue, even on days the gray and black upholstery are scorching hot. I can’t speak for black but very happy with bluesteel.

I find the different colors to be about the same. They all get hot but not enough to burn you.

I installed black/red Gator on my 2018 SL this past spring.

The black color is not hotter than other darker colors. No issues here. Actually my vinyl gets A LOT hotter than the floors. SC did not have chill tech on the 18s.

Yes the light gray shoes EVERYTHING! I would go darker next time. My vinyl gets wayyyy hotter than my gstorstep.

One more vote for never getting light grey gator step. By shows everything Hak means everything. I spend more time trying to get my gator step to look clean than anything else, and I have a black boat.

I loved my SL, but hated the Gray floor . . . . so I moved to Black one that shows more dirt. It least I like the color scheme now.
