I don't use AutoWake. I fill everything 100% full and try to adjust the pitch and roll moving people or bags. I didn't check the pitch and roll last time out but when I have checked it in the past it has been a bit high in the 9.5 to 11.0 degree range depending on where people are sitting and Roll is -1 to -3 degrees. It's just super frustrating....the Axis is so easy, fill ballast, turn on the surf gate, set the cruise and hit the throttle and it always produces a fun wave no matter where people choose to sit. The surf tab system on our Mojo is finicky, inconsistent, and definitely not repeatable.

Have you been able to produce a wave that's anywhere close to your friends Malibu/Axis?

Curious why you don’t use autowake? At minimum use it to tell you exactly what Moomba recommends for pitch and roll then tweak from there.

Always amazed at how owners just poo poo it without understanding it.

Autowake is an awesome tool once you understand what it’s telling you.

But at least fill 100% then turn on autowake and see the pitch and roll targets it wants.

Also no matter what, get the wakeplate under 25%

Just don’t let your Malibu buddies get in your ear about what works on their boats. Moomba boats pitch and roll are nothing like the nose high Malibu’s.

I think you need to bring the nose down as I have been told the Moombas use the whole hull to make the wake vs just the ass end of the boat. I would move 100 out of each rear locker and throw it up in the bow and see how it feels. The factory setting is 8* so I would shoot for there and adjust up to your liking.

Unfortunately I don’t have a good picture of my wave since I figured it out however I’ll try to get one to compare. I believe my wave is the same height and way longer than a 2019 Malibu 23lsv however this wave had incredible push and was super easy to ride. Again stock ballast just a large crew is my set up. Flow 2.0.

Thanks, I guess the nose being that high doesnt hurt as much as I thought it would.

I like pitch 9 roll 1 to-1 for regular, my wave is consistent and I know what its going to do everytime. I turn on Autowake to check my pitch and roll once everything is loaded up and I am at surf speed. I move people to maintain my pitch and roll since I fill everything 100% with 850lbs of lead in the boat.

Factory setting shoots for 8. Wake9 said he shoots for 9.5 for more push due to his weight, but also says it shortens it up when you go that high. I was shooting for 9 my last time out.
