Default LOST SKI PLATFORM 2001 Moomba Outback: what are my OPTIONS

We took a trip out to Torch lake on a vacation rental on Intermediate River in Bellaire for our boat - we went to Lake Bellaire to Cass Lake and Torch Lake thru Grass River. On the last day back we ended up in an accident and didn’t realize till next day we had lost the swim deck/ platform after we used it last on Torch Lake Sandbar

I will attach the pictures of the deck that was recently done with a Vinyl skin below, in case any of you are on these lakes in water - or come across it on a listing someplace! ;(

I have tried hard finding it for over a week now but now I’m thinking i should begin to plan what my options might look like in case this thing has sunk in the water or perhaps got found by someone who may find it too dear to get rid off it now

The boat is at a shop / Marina now and they are trying to look for options but they haven’t located any 2001 compatible Ski/swim platforms yet... any ideas what my options might look like ?

    Thanks in advance!

I would suspect your odds of finding a used platform are slim. not a huge pile of boats sitting around waiting for pieces/parts to be sold off them.
might be one somewhere but time is monies so doubt your shop will spend hours and hours hunting down.
my gut would be likely sunk. I can't see them floating as that one looks to be solid fiberglas.

I would say your 2 options are get a retrofit 'glas unit:
    https://www.myswimplatform.com/platform-styles.html

    or go with teak.
    http://www.teakmarinewoodwork.com/sw..._platforms.htm
and many other places or build your own teak.

doubt with a boat that old you will have any luck with skiers choice but worth a call. it'll be spensive tho. they MIGHT have cad files as well and a good auto body shop that specializes in fiberglas could make one if you have the dimensions. cut out a template and ask to 'glas it. then gatorstep the top.

    good luck.

Agree, based on past posts, I believe they sink.
I have 2004 Supra and could get you some dimensions/pics if you need them to replicate.

Thanks for the offer... Luckily Moomba can still make it for the dealer and I’m keeping my fingers crossed!

Also, I had come across the first site on the custom swim platform in Seattle/WA area, but still haven’t heard anything back from those guys
