Default OJ 945 or Acme 2773

Looking for a new prop. Mine has a slight nick in it. I currently have the OJ945 on my mondo but are there any preferrences? It seems some people really prefer one over the other.

We mostly surf these days with wakeboarding every now and then. When we bought the boat we wanted the surf setup.

There are about a million opinions on here. I just bought an ACME 2773 for my ‘18 Craz, but haven’t been able to try it yet. Here Is what I can tell you.....Just call ACME and talk to their prop sizing experts. Or call Nettle’s and talk to JT. Nettle’s has some really good prices. There are so many choices and what works for someone on here may not work for you. It depends on boat, weight, altitude, are you surfing, wakeboarding, skiing, etc.... Many places will let you return the prop as long as it is in like new condition and you swap it out for another one. I have an OJ 950 and it works great for me. Most people seem to lean ACME over OJ, so I thought I would give it a try.

i am looking at the 2773, we are not at high altitude, but we can be heavily weighted. We also wakeboard and tube (kids), but i think this matches what i have on today with OJ. The price at Nettles was far better than anywhere else and they also said this would work.

15x13 4 blade ACME 2773. They also suggested the 2775 which is a 12.5 pitch but that seems a little steep for a multi function boat.

ACME recommended the 2775 for me also. You probably can’t go wrong either way. Nettle’s said they would return mine as long as I only used it once and it was in like new condition.

2775 will push a lot of weight. I run it on a 5250# SA with 3500# ballast plus 600# lead plus 500# crew 3600rpm at 11.2mph

    Empty tops out at 39mph

we on occasion pull a slalom skier so 2775 may be a tad steep. Ordered the 2773 today. on backorder til next week.

I ended up with a 2775 because the 2773 was back ordered. I slalom ski also, so I will report back. I don’t slalom ski at 38mph though.

I'm running a 2775 on my Craz with 4k ballast + 500lb lead. I got on plane with nearly full ballast and 4 adults on board between wakeboard spots this weekend. I ran about 30mph. It was kind of scary! I could also pretty much see the gas gauge move while coming up on plane!

I also have an acme 1235 and an OJ 945 and all run about the same top speed: 39-40mph. I don;t really understand that since there is a big difference in pitch, but it's true - at least on my boat!

Wow! What top speed do you get with the 2775? Looks like we have the same boat.
