It warms to mid 70’s. Frozen from the end of November until the middle/end of April. This is the same view in the winter. Originally Posted by sandm

What do you get when you put two teenage dickheads on a jet ski and go out riding in an area known for rattle snakes...
It wasn't until after they flung it into the boat that we figured out it was dead. I was ready to sink them after that little stunt but it was my name on the ski's rental contract...
Nice dismount technique by my nephew.
The clear, clean, nice water on the right where the river comes in was about 52 degrees. The slimy pee soup we were riding in all day about 76. I couldn't talk anyone into jumping in for a quick swim.
Apparently my "Hey dad, let's go tubing" reaction needs a little work according to my oldest daughter.
So when is this "old enough to know better" supposed to kick in?

Got to spend the last 5 days on Lake Travis with family and friends. It was great to get away for a little bit.
And the water was so blue, something I’m not use to coming from Lake Houston.

Nice pics rdlangston13! The one of the little one brings back so many memories of my daughter gene she was little lol.
