    Question Lost all drive

I was out with my 2008 LSV and when were getting ready to pull a boarder up, we heard a clunk and then we had no drive in either direction. Any ideas what this might be? I see some threads about the flex plate failing after a ticking sound but to my knowledge we didn't hear anything strange. Was just curious if there might be any other possibilities and whether I want to tackle this by myself.
    Thank you for any insight.

the throttle cable attaches to the engine towards the front (facing the bow if i'm not mistaken). Is it possible the cable came disconnected?

Wow! When I first read the title of your post I thought this was cry for help with a mental illness. Now that that is cleared up, does the engine still run fine? If so, the problem is somewhere downstream in your power train starting at your flywheel and then down from there. Pretty difficult to diagnose in this forum. I hope the repair isn’t costly.
