Default Using two wakesurf shapers, one in back, one in middle/front

Has anyone tried to use two shapers at the same time, one in the back, and one in the middle/front? I just came across "surfmode" system on YouTube and it looks interesting. Also, they claim you don't have to use as much total ballast/weight.

    interesting...

maybe the next "gamechanger" will be gills that stick out and retract all down the side of the boat similar to surfgate..

Caterpillar propulsion system + surf wave.
So when is this "old enough to know better" supposed to kick in?

If one is good, two must be better.

People that purchase them, like them. I'm not sold on the less displacement thing.

Bryan, who makes them, gave a set (or 2) to some people around the Knoxville area for guys to try out. They have been getting passed around. That is how I know people like them.

I have a buddy coming down with his 24 Launch in a few weeks. I'm going to get them to try out on his boat. We will see.

Nauticurl has some pics on their website displaying double shapers in the back, not back and middle.

Same concept as the companies making the big mega shapers, displace more water.

I have an original wake makers auto surf system installed, then 2 summers ago wake makers said try the delta mission surf device.

So we did and wow what a difference, but in the same scale the drag is insane

Running 2200lbs i the rear and then 500 center was no issue, then added the delta device and i can see, feel hear the extra drag in the engine working.

I am not sure about 2 of these devices

I put a Nauticurl and a Swell slim on the starboard rear corner, staggered with the NC just below waterline nestled in under the raised Sanger emblem. The swell was well below waterline at the rear corner. Noticeable drag especially going into headwind, and a robust wake with no push. This was just with my wife driving and 2 dogs. I haven’t been able to try placing one at mid ships yet to see the result. I just added 200# of lead, and had 100# on top of 90%+ full ballast.

    I’ll post when I do.
