    Default Clanking/tic noise

    I have a 2000 Moomba with a 350 engine and only 300 hours on it. I have a clanking/ticking noise above 1500 rpm in gear. When in neutral I can run the engine up to 3000 rpm with no noise. Normal and steady oil pr. and engine temperature. Anybody have a similar experience?

    I had all kinds of clicking noises. Just turn the stereo volume up.

    Turned out to be spark knock. Investigating bad gas or distributor module.
