    Default Engine Storage Compartment

I have a quote from my local "dealer" here, seems outrageous for the pan. Does anyone have a guy they use for a decent discount.

    Thanks

Its crazy the cost for the plastic.

I've got a local guy getting me a quote of 1/8 aluminum, we'll see if it worth the squeeze.

I know the price is stupid, but that tray over the engine is totally awesome. I won't say it is worth it because that couple hubdred dollars means something different to different people, but it works as storage and a dryer!

I think what he means is outrageous for what it is. I agree 200$ is relatively speaking not a whole lot when in comparison to other upgrades we've paid for our boats, but 200$ for a plastic pan? That is a total ripoff. That being said, I'll prolly buy it in the absence of an alterntive. I would like to know the pricing on the aluminum one JNR mentioned.
    Any updates on that jnr?

I have a 2018 Moomba Mojo and Skiers Choice is telling me they didn't offer or make a storage tray for this model/year! Does anyone know if another year would fit?

This is the part # 119402

I pick mine up from the dealer Saturday. I have a 2015 and this should fit 15-19. I need to trim around the strut mount since they changed that from 2016 to 2017.

$218 for the unit but I had to wait a month. SC is charging $250 shipping on top of the tray cost, so my dealer had it added to a boat that was on order and I didn't have to eat the shipping cost. I was not in a hurry so the month wait was not a problem.

It works great as a towel warmer! If you can justify the price do it. There is a trick to getting it on and off to access the engine but the 2021s have a mod where they removed the lip behind the struts to make it a bit easier. For those who haven’t done the mod yet you can easily remove the tray with the struts in place by lifting the front of tray up till the tray is about 45 degrees. Then pivot the tray away from you so it it pivoting on one of the back corners. The other back corner will rise up clearing the strut and you can now lift the tray and remove it. Reverse the steps for installation.

Can you get exact measurements, my metal guy never came thru. Lost my notes. Going to just make it myself.
