Default My 19' Moomba Max Setup

Figured its best to start its own thread, then I can just share the link haha.

The rear 1200s are WMs ballast upgrade.

The mid 1000s are the original stock rears. I piggy backed them to the WMs rears.

The bow is the WMs 860lb bow bag for the Max. Its connected to the front pumps. This is my video for the install.

I have an Acme 2419, and a 2493. Im currently running the 2493. Surf RPMs vary from 3500-4500 LOL. Our lake is so inconsistent, this is tough to judge. When I do a 2 day river trip, I plan to test both props, and get some good data on both.

ACME 2419, that's a 12" pitch prop, more torque. With all that weight, do you run the 400 or the 450 engine. I suppose you have the 1:1.75 tranny on a '19. Just curious. Nice setup. I like the solution of piggybacking the original bags under the seat, I suppose the deep hull of the max allows this. I would not be able to put 1K lb bags under the cabin seats in the Mojo.

That’s crazy that you need to drop down to. 10.5” pitch prop. With my 945 I surf at around 11mph and do 3500-3800 rpm with full ballast plus lead plus extra bags on my Craz. No issue with the 945. I’d be revving to the moon with. 10.5” pitch prop.

Nice thread. Did you ever run the 945 prop on your Max? What did you have stock?

I did not. The OJ 619 4 Blade 14.25 X 14.5 LH 1-1/8 is what was on it when I bought, which is abnormal for the dealer boats, but a customer ordered my boat. I was making a deal on a demo when it arrived, and apparently, the guy hadnt put a deposit down on it yet
