Default large brace in front of the engine.

    Hello All,

I just purchased a 2003 moomba mobius with the mid engine. Im pulling the engine in the morning and while prepping I noticed that the large brace in front of the engine had a good bit of corrosion on it. I was unable to find one in any literature for sale. I have 3 welders and tons of fab skills but time is of the essence on this one so i dont want to have to make it if i dont have to. any help is appreciated.\

    thanks
    steve

A picture of what you’re talking about would be amazing.

I believe thats the mount for the center pole thats used for pulling skiers. If your boat has a tower someone may have removed it.

Ski pole mount. Did your boat not have a ski pole when you bought it?

yep. no ski pole just the tower when i got it. the previous owner has since been called and he found the pole in the garage. im still rebuilding the brace for it since it had a significant amount of rust at the bottom. thanks for the replies
