Default Supra issue. On water now!

Hey guys, after winterization I came to the lake just to make sure everything is good to go for summer. I winterize every year myself and never had an issue. Honestly didn’t get very very cold this year.

Anyway startup just like normal and check for leaks. The blue piping that goes into the manifold on the starboard side, had a crack in the weld. Picture At the bottom.

My question is this common, what is it caused from?

That’s a terrible picture but it has a crack right at the weld.

I mean I was hoping it was under warranty. It’s a 2018 Supra. Prob won’t be putting jb weld on it. The powder coat had bubbled up and peeling also

Picture is hard to tell, I assume it's a cracked weld on the CAT pipe? They had a few '18s do that. Contact your dealer, it should be covered.

Did you use a potato as a camera? But yeah, Indmar should cover that.

i was guessing he used the "beer goggles" filter.....

i would be surprised on a 2 yo boat if warranty doesnt cover.

Yea the attachment picture thing on here makes images like a thumbnail and no reason why some turn out to be decent sized and others it turns them into thumbnails for a Nokia cell phone from the 2000's lol. You're better off using imgur or some other image hosting site of do what others do and use tapatalk as i think they say that fixes the image issue as well.

Glad you got it covered under warranty.

You all should try Tapatalk to run this forum, it’s free and super easy to upload pics and surf forum, no pun intended.
