My brother's dog loves to ride up in the bow like Leo in Titanic. He is small enough his nails wouldn't rip anything but I have worried about dumping him in the drink a few times, but he holds on somehow.
Our dog isn't really a fan. He just lays down on the floor next to me looking at me like, "Get me the hell of this deathtrap".

as they say tho. their boat their rules

that said keep the nails clipped and towels around and your interior should hold up as well as anyone. that sanger interior wear was no better or worse with their dogs in it and they were 2 pretty large dogs.
I don’t remember you being on my Sanger!

J/k, but our two (now 3) ausholes love boating. Cleaning up hair sucks. Thick towels are a must. Have a plan for loading them so they don’t scratch the gel or launch out regrettably.

Our boy jumped out to rescue me his first trip in the boat. He swam to me but freaked when wifey circled around to pick us up and scratched the gel on the rear corner trying to get back on the boat in a panic.

When boarding from the beach, I carry them out and wash paws before they track mud all over.

I haven’t decided if I’ll allow them on the new boat yet.

I’ve only had my guys out a few times but no issues. Next time I’m thinking about the trail boots they have for pups

I tried those for hiking, and my dogs had them off 10ft from the truck.

Dogs sweat through their pads, so when you cover them up you remove a cooling mechanism for them.

Our dogs go swimming in the cool water, so if you live in a hot and humid climate with warm water >70f, then dogs struggle to cool unless there is a constant breeze for evaporative cooling.

haha. theirs was an 05 v210. it tossed a decent surf wave for a 20ft'er but the interior was TRASHED and the mercruiser in it had issues from day one.
I'd be surprised if it was still running and being used.

He's allowed occasionally. Towels down wherever he steps. Little claws could do a number on that fragile cool touch vinyl.

We take our Great Dane with us, keep her nails trimmed and the upholstery is fine we use the towels to keep her cool on the hot days.
