Where I am the FM transmitters suck. There are literally zero clear frequencies.

FYI, I called PIE and asked them how long the Kenwood adapter was and they told me it was 6ft. Do you guys think this is long enough for to wrap around to the driver side for a mount?

    Great find Joe!

I don't think 6' is long enough if you are wiring to the drivers side dash somewhere around the steering wheel. I did not get this exact cord that you did, but mine is 6' and was not long enough to make it on my Outback. Yours may be different.

This is the same as the PXA-05, but without the direct to battery connection and rca's and the same as the PAC ic-RCA, but does not need the additional adapter.

1 plug into kenwood, 1 plug into iPod - both audio and power(charging).

I ended up buying the cable and and (2) extensions so I could run it from the radio all the way over to the driver's side. The extension cable (Kenwood CA-C2EX) was from Crutchfield.

Here are two pics of the mount I used. The mount is from Crutchfield also.

Default I had the same cable on my 2002 LSV.. getting extensions..

I didnt know they made an extension cable. I had the same cable going from back of radio to glovebox.. I took out the CD changer (Actually.. if anyone wants a 12 disk kenwood changer it is for sale CHEAP.. but this isnt the forum for that PM me if interested)
anyways.. I put the cable thru a hole I made bigger in the bottom of the glovebox, but I hated having to either A.. open and close the GB to get to the Ipod.. or B leave the I pod dangleing outside the glove box near the windshield hoping it stayed there.
I just ordered 2 extensions and a mount for the same setup as above. Thanks for the excellent post.. - BTW.. does it stay on in rough water?... or did u have to screw it to the dash?.
