    Default Water Pump Impeller Removal

Anyone have any good tips to remove the raw water pump impeller? They always seem to pull out hard, but I am really struggling to get it out this year. With all the smart engineers we have in this country you would think they could put a part that needs replace each year in a more accessible spot!

    Default Water Pump Impeller Removal

If you have cover off, spray impeller with WD40 then take need nose pliers and grab a rubber vane and wiggle it, work your way around in one direction grabbing a vane and wiggling, it eventually pops free

Good tip. Thank you. I got it out after some cussing and snorting. . It was really stuck in there this year. I have never had that much trouble getting it out. Maybe I am getting weaker. Ha ha.

Didn’t even know they made one. Good to know! I am all about having the right tool for the job.

Discount Marine @ $34 to $36 is a good deal. I assumed $100 for the tool.
