Wake Plate Noise
I have a new 2019 Moomba Craz. When the boat is in the water in idle, it makes a loud noise. It does go away after the throttle moves forward. My dealer tells me that it is the exhaust hitting the wake plate. I had a 2016 Moomba Craz, and it made the same noise. Has anyone experienced this issue, and is there a fix?

Yep mine does that as well. You can buy plastic washers and add them to reduce the play. It does help.

Composite shims work well if you have areas to use them. I used them on my last boat. Lowes or HomeDep.

I have the same thing (i think) on my 2019 mondo. Couldn't figure it out until now but makes sense. Sounded like ballast was pumping out like a grumble coming from the back of the boat at idle. As soon as i hit the throttle it goes away.
